King Prawn

  • It’s not in a Slack channel.
  • It’s not in Teams.
  • It’s not a LinkedIn group.
  • It is NOT a Facebook group.

We’re not going to give it to you free and then rinse you out by using your data and selling it off to somebody.

We’re not doing any of that sort of stuff.

King Prawn works intentionally over good old reliable email.

How it works

In less than sixty seconds

We use two-factor authentication to protect your data, so you’ll need your mobile handy.

It will take you less than a minute to create your group and add the duration and frequency of the meetings that you want them to have. Thinking of a name for your group might be the thing that takes you the longest!

Take another minute or two to add your team members to the group by adding their names and email addresses. You can do this one by one or import them using a spreadsheet.

When you’ve added everybody, you can start the process.

The members of your group receive emails from The King Prawn with names and email addresses of people to connect with, links to topics and completion prompts.

This is where the magic happens, and your group start to connect more with each other.

King Prawn: The Catalyst for Better Collaboration

“I’m glad I made the effort to talk to that finance person. It taught me a valuable lesson: Don’t judge someone based on their group. Make the effort to get to know them, and you might be surprised at what you find.”

Three benefits of building trust through conversation

Five ways to wellbeing

“A person may have a broad social network, socialise with lots of people, but their relationships may not be close or may lack depth. Equally, a person may have strong social relationships but have few connections with people outside of their core network. Strong social relationships are supportive, encouraging, and meaningful. Broader, more ‘superficial’ relationships are important for feelings of connectedness, familiarity and sense of self-worth associated with an individual’s position in a community. The key message to communicate is that giving time and space to both strengthen and broaden social networks is important for well-being.”

King Prawn can help to strengthen and broaden your current social networks, helping you to connect more with others which is one of the five ways to wellbeing.

Build trust through conversation

If you want to build trust through conversation, here are a few tips:

Be genuine: People can tell when you’re being fake, so be yourself.

Be interested in others: Ask questions and listen to what people have to say.

Be respectful: Even if you disagree with someone, be respectful of their opinion.

Be open to feedback: Be willing to listen to feedback and learn from your mistakes.

Conversation is a powerful tool that can help you to build trust, learn new things, and grow as a person. Make the effort to talk to people from different groups, and you might be surprised at what you find.

"I learned that the magic of conversation is that it can move you on that little bit. It can help you to build trust, to learn new things, and to see the world from a different perspective. "
