Judy Heumann who died in March, did so much to publicise the importance of accessibility.
Three important takeaways from her work:
1. “Ability” is a continuum, and “accessibility” benefits everyone.
2. Modifications harness creative thinking, and creative thinking is a life skill.
3. We are all temporarily “able-bodied.”
